On July 11, 2009 I received the following
e-mail out of the blue:
Mark your calendar!!! Mary's getting
married Aug 29.
So, I marked my calendar and did a long weekend
trip to Pittsburgh to attend the wedding.

trip to Pittsburgh to attend the wedding.
Upon my questioning why the short notice, I got this update on July 17, 2009:
His name is Mike Morelli. He was in the Army for five years. Did a tour in
Iraq, did another in Afghanistan. He got out to get a degree from Pitt and is
now going back into the Army through Officers training school as an officer.
Wherever he is assigned, providing it is not in a war zone, Mary will be able
to go with him. Of course she's hoping for Hawaii, or maybe Fort Campbell
(only three hours from here). Wherever they are, she's more likely to be
able to find a job in her field of criminal justice; probably on base.
Both Jessica and Susan are very impressed with Mike. They say he has
made Mary very happy. And they think she'll be great as an Army wife. If they
get stationed in Germany, we'll all have to go visit her!!!!
